Caroline is the Clinical General Manager at FREED-Beeches. Caroline is responsible for the overall running of the therapies that are available at the project. She is also responsible for assessments and reviews at the project and liases closely with other services and GPs. Caroline supports our clients as an integrative psychotherapist/counsellor.

Jo McLaughlin

I am a retired Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist previously specializing in the planning and delivery of Outpatient Eating Disorder Services.

I am currently working as a voluntary counsellor offering Psycho-Education and Therapeutic support to families, parents, carers and partners of clients attending FREED-Beeches.

Jess Baumber

Counselling Psychologist

I am a chartered member of the British Psychological Society and I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. I am also a member of, and registered with, the British Association for Councelling and Psychotherapy.

I work as an integrative therapist, drawing on different approaches and tailoring my use of these to each individual client's needs and preferences. I work collaboratively with clients and value each clients' participation in shaping their own unique therapy journey. I aim to develop a warm and genuine therapeutic relationship with clients in which they can feel safe, understood and respected; this is at the heart of my way of working.

Manisha Dickenson

BA (Hons) Economics, MA Integrative Psychotherapy, Dip. in Clinical Supervision, Post Grad Cert. in CBT, EMDR (part 1 & 2) practitioner in training (part 3 to be completed shortly).

I have worked in the field of Psychotherapy for over 10 years working with a diverse range of clients. I hold UKCP registration and am a BACP member. I have experience of group work, working with families, children and adolescents and delivering training. I currently predominantly work with adult clients on an individual basis. I enjoy using a variety of creative approaches as part of my training. Beyond Freed-Beeches I am a clinical supervisior and work within 2 other organisations. 

Katie Smith

MSC Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy, Dip in Mental Health Nursing

I am a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and registered Mental health Nurse. I also have experience in General Medical Nursing. I have specialised in eating disorders particularly the treatment of body image disturbance and emotional regulation. I have worked as a Mental Health Nurse since 2003 within inpatient and outpatient settings and this has provided me with experience in working with a wide variety of emotional difficulties. I began delivering CBT in 2008 initially within the inpatient area before moving to an outpatient eating disorder service. I briefly worked providing CBT for anxiety disorders before working for Freed-Beeches.
